Exciting moments from The Queen's Visit to Perth, Western Australia

สวัสดีวันอาทิตย์ค่ะทุกๆคน วันนี้เราขอนำเสนอความภาคภูมิใจของชาวเมืองเพิร์ท ที่มีโอกาสได้ต้อนรับการมาเยือนของควีนอลิซาเบธ จากประเทศอังกฤษ ชาวเพิร์ททุกๆคนถือว่าตื่นเต้นมากๆในเวลานั้น จขบ.บอกก่อนนะคะว่า การมาเยือนในครั้งนี้ท่านมาเมื่อปี2011 หรือสองปีที่แล้ว เราคิดว่าอยากจะเอาบรรยากาศตอนนั้นมาให้ชมกันค่ะ ชาวออสซี่ทุกคนนั้นปลาบปลื้มท่านมากๆ เราขอเล่าประวัติย่อๆเกี่ยวกับประเทศออสเตรเลียให้ฟัง เมื่อนานมาแล้วกัปตันคุกซึ่งเป็นชาวอังกฤษคนแรกที่ค้นพบประเทศออสเตรเลียในปี 1770 หลังจากนั้นผู้คนจากประเทศอังกฤษก็เริ่มอพยพมายังรัฐนิวเซาเวล หรือ ซิดนีย์ ในปี 1788 และตั้งรกรากอยู่ที่นี่อย่างถาวร และในปี 1901 ประเทศออสเตรเลียก็ได้ปกครองด้วยตัวเองอย่างเป็นทางการ แต่ถึงกระนั้นควีนอลิซาเบธก็ยังถือว่าเป็นผู้นำในประเทศนี้อยู่ เหมือนกับว่ายังเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของออสเตรเลีย แต่ท่านไม่ได้ออกกฎหมาย หรือ ให้ความเห็นใดๆในเรื่องของการเมืองเลย

คนที่อยู่ประเทศออสเตรเลียซักพักจะรู้เลยว่า ขนบธรรมเนียมและประเพณีส่วนมากจะคล้ายๆกับชาวผู้ดีอังกฤษซะส่วนมาก สถาปัตยกรรมที่สวยงามต่างๆก็ได้รับอิทธิพลจากชาวอังกฤษเช่นกันค่ะ คุณแม่ของสามีเราท่านก็อพยพกันมาจากประเทศอังกฤษเมื่อนานมาแล้วตั้งแต่ปู่ย่าตาทวด ทั้งนี้ทั้งนั้นคนออสซี่ทุกคนที่ย้ายมาจากแต่ละซีกโลก เค้าก็ให้ความสำคัญกับการมาเยือนของควีนอลิซาเบธมากๆ เราเองถึงแม้จะไม่ได้เกิดที่ออสเตรเลีย แต่เราก็ยังรับรู้ถึงความรู้สึกของคนที่นี่ ก็พาลทำให้ตื่นเต้นไปกับการมาเยือนครั้งนี้ของท่านด้วย ร่ายยาวมากแล้ว เชิญชมภาพกันค่ะ

The Queen visiting Australia is important because she is(technically anyway) the head of state. This is a result of Captian Cook discovering and claiming Australia for England in 1770, then the first fleet arriving to start a colony at what is now Sydney in 1788. Australia became independent in 1901 when the states voted to unite and become a federation. Even though Australia is an independent country the Queen still has an important, if only symbolic, status. The Queen's representative in Australia is the Governor General, who is appointed by the Federal Government.

"Great Aussie Salute"  แปลว่า  เอามือปัดแมลงออกจากหน้า (ส่วนมากจะเป็นแมลงวัน)  

 หรือ  "Waving your hand in front of your face to shoo the flies away"

Beautiful Sun Sand and Sea at Hopetoun, Western Australia

สวัสดีวันจันทร์ค่ะที่ทุกๆคน และคนที่กำลังติดตามอ่านบล๊อกของเราอยู่ วันนี้เราจะพาไปเยี่ยมชมเมืองเล็กๆติดชายทะเลที่แสนจะน่าอยู่เมืองหนึ่ง เมืองนี้ชื่อว่าโฮปทาว ห่างจาก เพิร์ท 590 กิโลเมตร ถือว่าไกลพอสมควร แต่ถ้าไม่อยากเดินทาง ทางรถ เพื่อนๆก็สามารถใช้บริการของสายการบิน สกายเวสได้ นี้เป็นสายการบินเดียวที่บินไปลงยังเอสพรินแอร์พอร์ต และต้องเดินทางต่อด้วยรถอีกประมาณสองชั่วโมงค่ะ ก็จะถึงปลายทางที่โฮปทาว เราก็ใช้บริการของสายการบินนี้เหมือนกันค่ะ บอกก่อนนิดหนึ่งว่าที่เราได้มีโอกาสมาที่นี่ เป็นเพราะว่าติดตามคุณสามีมาติดต่อเรื่องงาน ทางบริษัทเค้าก็ใจดีให้เรามาได้ด้วย ก็เลยถือโอกาสนี้พักผ่อนไปในตัว นานๆทีเนอะ เราอยู่ที่นั่นแค่สองวัน แต่เราว่ามันก็คุ้มค่ามากๆค่ะ กับบรรยากาศสวยๆ ฟ้าใสๆ แค่นี้ก็พอแล้วค่ะ ถ้าเพื่อนๆมีโอกาส ได้อยู่ที่นั่นนานหน่อยก็เข้าไปดูที่เที่ยวตามลิงท์เลยค่ะ Please visit this link for more information HOPETOUN WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Hopetoun is a small town, with a population of just under 1400 people, on the south coast of Western Australia in the Shire of Ravensthorpe. Located on Mary Ann Haven (the name of the Port), Hopetoun is some 590 kilometres south-east from capital city Perth and 160 kilometres west of Esperance and approximately 180 km east of Albany. 

We travelled to this town by plane, from Perth Airport to Esperance. A flight of less than 2 hours. Then we drove for approximatlely 1.5 hours to beautiful Hopetoun. A very lovely and quiet country town. People here are friendly and love to say hello to tourist like "us" :) I think there is not much to do, apart from fishing, swimming, relaxing, and catching with friends or family. It sounds that way to me. Asking locals what they usually do here, they often said relaxing by the beach, fishing or taking the boat out and about. That's pretty much about it, though there is a National Park in easy driving distance for day and longer camping trips. Does that sound like something you would usually do at home? If not, perhaps come and try it one day. I reckon it is not a bad way to spend a couple of weeks holiday :)

There is one general store, a bakery, a cafe' and one local pub, where people usually hang out at night. Food there is above average, but nothing fancy here because the town is so far from everything. Hard to find chef I suppose. We had a meal at the pub one day and it tasted was quite good. Large portions, which is usual for pubs in Australia. You won't go hungry afterward.

 

 

Every town in Australia has a war memorial, where the names of people who died in a war are recorded.

Nice and clean beaches. Oh so beautiful!!

As such a small town, I think local people might get sick of going to the beach, because I didn't see anybody else when I walked along the beaches. Only me :) Very peaceful.

All around this town are beautiful beaches. The sand is pure white, and the sea is a beautiful bright blue, the sun was just right to lie down and relax with a nice glass of bubbly or your favourite drink. I could easily complete my days here.

Finally somebody else was on the beach. They were tourists too!!

Perth Royal Show, Perth, Western Australia

สวัสดีค่ะทุกๆคน วันนี้เราจะพาไปชมบรรยากาศสวยๆจากเพิร์ทรอยัลโชว์กันค่ะ อยากจะบอกว่างานประจำปีนี้มันก็คล้ายๆกับงานวัดบ้านเราดีๆนี่เอง ความคิดเรานะคะ งานนี้ไม่ใช่ว่าจะจัดขึ้นเฉพาะเด็กๆ ผู้ใหญ่อย่างเราๆก็ชอบไปกันเหมือนกัน รู้สึกว่าย้อนเวลาไปเป็นเด็กอีกครั้งค่ะ เทศกาลนี้จะจัดขึ้นทุกปีและจะอยู่ในช่วงปลายเดือนกันยายนจนถึงต้นเดือนตุลาคม ซึ่งจะเป็นฤดูสปริงก่อนที่จะเข้าหน้าร้อนในเดือนพฤศจิกายน สปริงที่เพิร์ทนี่จะไม่ค่อยหนาวเหมือนที่บางรัฐ เราว่าอากาศค่อนข้างอบอุ่นไปถึงร้อนเลยก็ว่าได้แต่ก็จะไม่ถึงกับร้อนจนเกินไป ถ้าเพื่อนๆอยากจะจับจองตั๋วก็ตามลิงท์นี้นะคะ Please visit this link if you would like to know more information   PERTH ROYAL SHOW  ราคาตั๋วก็เอาเรื่องอยู่เหมือนกัน ทุกๆปีก็จะมีทีท่าว่าจะเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ส่วนมากคนที่มีลูกเล็กเด็กแดงก็จะมีส่วนลด หรือถ้าจับจองทางอินเทอเนตก็จะลดลงมานิดหน่อย ว่างๆก็เข้าไปดูค่ะ 

ไม่พูดพร่ำพรรณนามากแล้ว เชิญชมภาพกันค่ะ

"The Perth Royal Show is an annual agricultural show held in Perth, Western Australia at the Claremont Showgrounds. It features informational exhibits, agricultural competitions and display animals, a fairground and rides, and showbags. It has been held for over 100 years and is organised by the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia. It currently occurs during the spring school holidays (either the last week of September or the first week of October) and attracts around 500,000 people a year."

Showbags are great. Full of fun stuff and good things to eat. There is a large variety of showbags so you will always find one that you like. Most are good value for money too.

This was quite a nerve racking expeirience to be up on the chair lift, but once I saw a little girl sitting by herself my fear suddenly dissapeared :) I actually had to multitask, taking pictures from up high and learn not to get blown by strong wind. I wouldn't call it a good experience, but it wasn't bad either. I am thinking it is one good skill to have to be a good photographer :)

I admire these strong men. Some of them very slim, but they are actually much stronger than you think.

Good fun for kids. If you like something high up then this big slide is something you might consider. It is not suitable for people who have heart problem. Good fun and you can go very fast down the slide.

Haunted house!! Do I look scary enough for you?? Also a warning for people who didn't like to be in the dark.

I would recommend this jam donut for anyone who happens to be in the Fremantle market. You can take the train to Fremantle once you have enough of the show. Early or late muchie, a donut is always good! Mmmmmmmm Yum. Delicious!!!!

This coffee shop is also in Fremantle. Please do not miss this fresh and beautiful coffee from Hush Espresso. Just a short walk from Fremantle markets. Nice and cozy little coffee shop, it is a must for people who are cafeine addicts. :) Or just looking for high quality coffee.

Lonely day, but nothing to pay, at the Swan Rriver, Crawley, just minutes from Perth city, Western Australia

สวัสดีค่ะวันเหงาๆวันนี้ จะพาไปเยี่ยมชมสวอนรีเวอร์ ที่ครอลี่กันนะคะ แม่น้ำที่พาร์คนี้คนจะไม่ค่อยเยอะเท่าไหร่ ระยะทางก็ห่างจากเพิร์ทไม่มากประมาณสิบนาทีได้ ส่วนมากคนที่มานี้เค้าจะมาเล่นคายัก หรือกิจกรรมทางน้ำกัน อย่างที่เห็นในภาพ พยายามถ่ายในระยะไกลๆค่ะ ท่าเรือที่นี่จะเป็นที่เก็บเรือสำหรับคนที่มีเรือต่างๆ ส่วนมากคนที่จะมีเรือได้ก็ค่อนข้างมีฐานะ ถือว่ารวยเลยก็ว่าได้ การที่จะมีเรือต้องมีไลเซนท์และสอบใบขับขี่ทางเรือผ่านก่อน ไม่อย่างนั้นก็ต้องจ้างคนที่มีไลท์เซนท์ขับให้ จำได้ว่าวันนั้นเรามาถ่ายรูปเล่นกัน และนั่งดูน้ำเป็นบรรยากาศแบบเหงาๆ เพราะฝนใกล้จะตก แต่ก็ถือว่ารีแลกซ์เลยทีเดียว ไม่น่าเชื่อว่าห่างจากตัวเมืองไม่กี่นาทีจะมาเจอที่ค่อนข้างสงบ ชมภาพวันเหงาๆกันค่ะ

"Spill the beans"   แปลว่า  "บอกความลับ"    หรือ  "Telling a secret"

ประโยคนี้ใช้กับบทสนทนา ถ้าเกิดเพื่อนหรือคนรู้จักเผลอบอกความลับที่เรายังไม่อยากจะบอกออกไป เค้าก็จะใช้ประโยคนี้ เราได้ยินบ่อยๆ ตอนแรกก็ไม่ค่อยเข้าใจแต่เดี๋ยวนี้ชินแล้ว

สุดท้ายนี้ เราอยากจะอวยพรให้พ่อของทุกๆคน และพ่อของเราเอง เนื่องในวันสำคัญก็คือ วันพ่อในวันพรุ่งนี้ ขอให้ท่านมีสุขภาพแข็งแรงปราศจากโรคภับนะคะ อย่าลืมพาท่านไปทานข้าว หรือเที่ยวกันนะคะ ถ้าเรามีโอกาสอยู่ที่เมือไทยก็จะทำอย่างนั้น แต่เราอยู่ทางนี้ก็คงจะโทรหาเหมือนทุกปี อย่าลืมให้ความสำคัญกับคนที่เรารักนะคะ

บ้านเมืองเราตอนนี้ไม่ค่อยสงบสุขนัก อยากให้คนไทยหันมาปรองดองกัน ต่างชาติทางนี้เค้าชอบบ้านเมืองเรามากนะคะ หันหน้ามาคุยกันสักนิด เราคิดว่าทุกอย่างมันอาจจะลงตัวดีกว่าที่เป็นข่าว แต่ถึงยังไงถึงเราอยู่ทางนี้ก็อดห่วงไม่ได้ เห็นข่าวทีไร รู้สึกเศร้าใจทุกที ส่งกำลังใจให้คนไทยทุกคนนะคะ
